In 1997, The Cyprus Cement Company was awarded the Quality System Certificate Q.S.1.97.023 for the standard CYS ISO 19002:94 by the Cyprus Standards Organization and in 1998 the Quality System Certificate 02.16.04/394 by the Hellenic Organization for Standardization (ELOT) for the ELOT EN ISO 9002.
In 2001, the Company modified the Quality System according to the new standard EN- ISO 9001:2000. |

The Quality Department of The Cyprus Cement Company Limited operates as a fully Independent Department in order to ensure that all provisions of the Quality Management System of the Company are fully implemented.
The cement manufactured conforms fully to the product specification defined in CEM-II/A-P42.5N, according to the specifications of the CE conforming marking. |

Parallel to the Quality Management Department the Company operates Quality Control Department, under the Production Department, manned by qualified personnel and its laboratory utilizes the latest high technology equipment.
Holder of ELOT's certificate of conformity no. 61.01.04/1.
This certificate verifies that Portland-Pozzolana cement, type CEM-II/A-P42.5N is produced in conformity with the normative document ELOT EN 197-1:2000.
ELOT's certificate of conformity no. 0365-CPD- 61.01.04/1.
This certificate verifies that the construction product Portland-Pozzolana cement, type CEM II/A-P 42.5N fulfils all the prescribed requirements according to ELOT EN 197-2000.

By the Cyprus certification company assessed that production and sale of Portland Cement is in conformity with the requirements of ELOT EN ISO 9001:2000. IQNet Certificate of registration no. GR 02.16.04/394.
Attests that the Cyprus Cement Company Co. Ltd. implements and maintains a management system which fulfils the requirements of ELOT EN ISO 9001:2000.
Objectives for quality include the principles and requirements of CYS ISO 9001:9002 and quality planning to ensure:
