Our Company is continuously seeking to improve its environmental performance by more efficient use of energy and natural resources and the minimization of air emissions and waste in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Carbon dioxide

Our Company is active in its efforts to reduce its CO2 emissions by

  • Improving energy efficiency
  • Using clinker additives (pozzolana, limestone etc.) in cement grinding


Since 1990 the specific emissions of carbon dioxide (tons of CO2 /ton of cement) were reduced by almost 11%, a reduction in excess of the 5.2% stipulated in the Kyoto Protocol."
